I don’t want to be a mogul, I just want people to want to read my content. I don’t care if it’s RSS, they visit the site, i don’t care. I just want people to want to read my content.
bokardo.com has a few comments which are quite spot on for the would be blogger. What you say is valuable, post often, use commenting to refine your point, etc. I think we’ve heard most of it before in one form or another. But one point struck me as particularly important:
People are listening
For every person who posts a comment on your blog, you have 10 (or 100) readers who won
i totally agree with your post. the people who actually comment in the posts are normally bloggers, normal people, who have just found you in google, technorati or other search tool usually come, read one or 2 posts and go away, in silence.
